Beattie, the creative communications group, is to move into a new office in Manchester city centre which is three times the size of its existing office in Piccadilly.
“Business in Manchester is booming and our new office will allow us to double the size of our PR team and launch a brand new digital marketing team in the city,” said group managing director Laurna Woods.
“We look forward to increasing our PR headcount and we are already on the hunt for a head of digital marketing and a team of four consultants.”
The penthouse office at Woolwich House, 61 Mosley Street comes complete with a large meeting room, reception area and outdoor roof terrace.
Siobhan Chesher, head of the Manchester office, said: “The last 12 months were the most successful of the last decade for the Beattie team in Manchester.”
“Turnover grew by 25 per cent and we are confident the next 12 months will also be a record breaker.”
“Our new base will ideally position us to continue this growth and attract the best talent in the North West for our new roles.”
New business wins over the past year for Beattie included waste management giant Biffa, global property developer Select Property Group and consumer health brand Seven Seas. Beattie also works with airline Flybe, fashion retailer La Redoute and leading confectionery business Tangerine.
With fees under management of £16m, the Beattie team will move into their new office later this month.
With its HQ in London, Beattie is the one of the UK’s largest independent marketing and communications consultancies, incorporating media and stakeholder relations, social media and digital marketing services.
