Paul Yates, ambassador for Manchester-based Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, paid a visit to the hospital on April 25th to help with an Easter egg collection run by fellow school mum, Victoria Ingham and son Max Ingham.
Victoria first approached Paul at the school in which their children both attend in Marple Bridge in the hope that he could assist with the delivery of the eggs.
Paul said: ‘When Victoria approached me from Ludworth Primary School where our children attend, I was more than happy to get involved. The charity is very close to my heart and when I found out her son Max had spent some considerable time there having treatment it seemed even more fitting.
‘These children go through so much on a daily basis so to be able to deliver a bit of happiness to them is priceless. I had a great day meeting Max and some of the other children at the hospital and want to thank Victoria for all her help.’
