Liverpool-based creative production studio, Milky Tea are to exhibit at the prestigious Connections New York event, hosted by the world renowned network and creative resource, Le Book. The studio will be the only exhibitors from outside of London to showcase their work at the event which takes place on Wednesday and Thursday (5th – 6th June) this week.
Established in 2005, the custom made trade show has played host to thousands of photographers, illustrators, art directors portfolios. The invitation only event offers a unique opportunity for those in attendance to view the cream of the world’s image industry under one roof. Connections is visited by art buyers and commissioners from ad agencies, brands, broadcasters and publishers
Connections NY, now in its 3rd year, recently expanded its offering in to include disciplines such as illustration and animation. Milky Tea’s addition to the bill sees Liverpool named alongside studios and agents from Paris, New York and London, including Dutch Uncle, , Le Studio Rouchon and Monotype.
Now celebrating 31 years in the business, Le Book was created in 1982 by Veronique Kolasa. Starting life as a Parisian directory of fashion and photography professionals, the publication, dubbed ‘Bible of the image industry’ is now published in Paris, New York, London, Berlin and West Coast USA.
