Last night, Manchester marketing agency Online Ventures Group cemented its rise to greatness by winning out at the Talk of Manchester Awards.

The awards, which were held at the National Football Museum on Todd Street, went off with a bang when Online Ventures Group was presented with the award for best digital agency. The company was up for three awards in total, including the best social media company and best entrepreneur award (for which OVG’s CEO Paul Yates was nominated), but the win of best digital agency was more than enough to thrill the team.

Online Ventures was represented by CEO Paul Yates, MD Justin Yates, Head of Insights Rionne Williams, Technical Director Tim Alcock, Operations Manager Sara Bryan, Relationship Director Richard Venables, New Business Director Simon La-band, Head of Media Matthew Aguilera, Social Media Manager Lauren Dale and Project Manager Grace Nolan.

Paul Yates said: “In the last year, Online Ventures has developed by a huge amount, both in terms of staff numbers and notoriety. We are now one of the most well-known digital agencies in Manchester, and our latest award proves this once and for all.

“Of course, this wouldn’t have been possible without all of the hard work and dedication that the OVG team puts in, and I can’t thank them enough.”

Other notable winners at last night’s Talk of Manchester awards include WeAreAdam (best recruitment company), Natwest (best business bank), JAMpr (best PR agency), JMW (best law firm), Studio North (best brand agency), GO Social (best social media company) and Tim Bacon from Living Ventures (best entrepreneur).
