Manchester-based property finance lender, Auction Finance Limited, has been awarded Supplier of the Year in the Products for Funding category at the Landlord and Letting Awards 2013.
The accolade was awarded to Auction Finance for its role in providing vital support and finance to property professionals and landlords in the UK’s auction houses when they look to purchase buy-to-let, commercial and semi-commercial properties and land.
In the past 12 months the business has visited 500 auctions, grown its lending book and the number of cases completed, extended its offering to property professionals with new short term funding products from just 0.75% and expanded its customer relations team. Auction Finance has also developed new partnerships with auction houses, meaning it now has a presence at virtually every auction in the UK.
Scott Hendry, director of Auction Finance Limited, said: “As the largest principal lender solely dedicated to the auction market, we pride ourselves on providing, innovative, fast and flexible funding to property professionals at auctions.
“Confidence in the buy-to-let sector is growing; auction house lots sold are now surpassing pre-recession levels. We believe we’ve had a part to play in this recovery by ensuring our finance solutions enable landlords to acquire, renovate and refinance properties. It’s fantastic to have the hard work of the team recognised through this prestigious award.”
The Landlord & Letting Awards were introduced in 2009 with the aim of recognising and rewarding excellence and contribute to raising standards in the private rented sector.
Auction Finance works with many leading auction houses including Sutton Kersh, Barnard Marcus, Edward Mellor, Clive Emson, Graham Penny and Eddisons. An average loan size is £67,500 and funds can be transferred just 24 hours after completion.
