The many wins that the company has seen include a contract with supermarket giant Tesco PLC. OVG was tasked to create a bespoke, interactive challenge using Google Tours, just one example of the new digital applications OVG is using.
Alongside the new business wins, Online Ventures Group has cast its nets to both Liverpool and Leeds with the intention of opening a new office in Liverpool within the first six months of 2014.
Back in Manchester, Online Ventures Group has partnered up alongside Brother, Allied London, The University of Manchester, HSBC and Metronet UK to support Founders Dock, an incubator and accelerator run by TiE, to support ambitious entrepreneurs and to create the next generation of business success stories.
To support the success that OVG is experiencing it is now on a mass recruitment drive with the intention of increasing its staff numbers by over 30 per cent in the next six months, over half of which will be through apprentice programmes.
Paul Yates, Chief Executive Officer of Online Ventures Group, commented: “By no mean feat has the past three months been easy; it’s taken a lot of hard work and dedication by our staff, all of whom I’m very proud of. The team I have around me are like no other, we gave them the option to finish early for Christmas yet on the 23rd they were still at their desks working hard.
“Our plans for OVG are vast, we’re continuously changing, adapting for the next digital marketing trend, and as a result have a pipeline other agencies would kill for. I’m looking forward to the next 12 months, I may even take a holiday.”
