BDB has been appointed by KleurCraft, an international producer of natural food and drink colours. The Altrincham-based marketing communications consultancy has been tasked with strategic marketing consultancy, media relations and digital and offline content generation, plus exhibition graphics design for an event in Amsterdam in early December.

KleurCraft, based in Breda, the Netherlands, supplies red, orange and yellow food colourings derived naturally from fruits and vegetables such as elderberry, carrot and safflower. With many years in the natural ingredients industry and the backing of its experienced and well-respected parent company, SVZ, KleurCraft has a unique proposition that BDB will communicate to audiences throughout Europe via a range of channels.

Campbell Cooper, general manager at KleurCraft, commented:

“BDB was recommended to me by a former colleague who has worked with the agency for several years. From our first meeting, the team’s long experience in the food ingredients industry stood out, as did their passion for the industry we work in and the quality of the work BDB delivers. We feel confident that we’ve chosen exactly the right partner to raise KleurCraft’s profile, show the market our unique offering and help grow our business over the coming years.”

Alison Owen, KleurCraft’s account director at BDB, added:

“We’re thrilled to work with KleurCraft and draw on our long-standing knowledge of natural ingredients in the food and drink processing industry. We have a clear vision of what we can achieve together and have quickly made a great start to our collaboration with the launch of the new KleurCraft website and striking new exhibition graphics. We’re looking forward to a productive 2015 together.”
