Greater Manchester Police is the latest company to announce it will be attending a special boot camp in July to select a young social media star to join its team.
Following the Government’s commitment to invest a further £180 million towards the creation of up to 50,000 new apprenticeship places over the next four years, the two top northern institutions are among 15 businesses who have pledged to take on a digital apprentice and help start their dream career.

Selection boot camps are run several times a year by The Juice Academy, the UK’s first industry-led social media apprenticeship programme, and the deadline for the digitally savvy enthusiasts to apply for a place on the next boot camp is on July 24th.

Successful applicants will be based at the GMP headquarters, while training concurrently at The Juice Academy, picking up key skills such as social media management, developing content for social sharing, developing a digital strategy, keyword analysis and SEO, and social media for mobile.
