Manchester based businesses AMC Cinema, The LAD Bible, The Rug Seller and Social Chain will be attending a special boot camp in January to select young social media stars to join their team.

The selection boot camp will be held at The Juice Academy, Manchester, the UK’s first industry-led social media apprenticeship programme and the deadline for digitally savvy enthusiasts to apply for a place on the next boot camp is on 22nd January.

As part of their day-to-day role, the chosen apprentice will play a vital role in social media and digital strategy for their allocated business, bringing to life the lessons learnt from the training programme.

Apprentices receive a payment of £11,500 and gain a level 3 City & Guilds qualification in digital and social media. Alongside this, the apprentice will gain sound industry advice and insight from PR and marketing specialists while training concurrently at The Juice Academy.

Other apprenticeships that will be up for grabs at the next bootcamp, on 27th January, include tailor made holiday company Travelbag, recruitment company Ionic, technology company SurveyMe, and music intelligence platform Beatroot.
