Thursday, 19 May 2016, Greater Manchester – Today marks the launch and rollout of multi-award winning branding and design agency AHOY’s fully responsive website for The Mere Golf Resort & Spa.
The culmination of months of collaboration and painstaking planning, the web project is the largest scope user experience project that AHOY have worked on to date – spending more time than ever before designing the user journey and flow of information through The Mere site from arrival to conversion. If anything, most of the project’s duration was spent in this exact stage, before AHOY’s typical web design and build processes had begun.
Now, The Mere website conveys luxury better than any single piece of printed literature ever could. Editorial design makes the most of The Mere’s written content and imagery, with tasteful transitions and animated flourishes reminiscent of the care and attention to detail that goes into every experience that The Mere offer.
The site is supported by AHOY’s refreshed and augmented brand guidelines for the Mere, adding typefaces, adjusting colour palette usage, overhauling how images and text are used throughout, as well as evolving and adding brand assets like iconography.
