innov8 Conference Services Director – James Caldwell explains why the Social Media Conference keeps coming back to Manchester and what we can expect from this year.
innov8 Conference Services has already confirmed that the Social Media Conference will return to thestudio Manchester on the 6th December 2016, due to overwhelming positive feedback from attendees.
Manchester is known for many things, Fashion, Music, Food, it’s a city of Firsts which date back hundreds of years. Manchester also played host to innov8’s first ever Social Media Conference, an International Training Conference for Marketing Professionals and Business Directors who were looking for a higher level of education.
The full day Conference was designed by innov8’s team of Professional Congress Organisers to help support the growing gap between New Media (particularly Social Media) and the understanding of Executives and Marketing Specialists.
“Digital, and in particular Social Media have been evolving and growing quicker than most of us can keep up with,” explained James Caldwell, the Managing Director of innov8. “We’ve had fantastic attendance at the event for the past few years with lots of companies sending down whole teams from their Marketing Departments so they can ensure they can keep up with the future of Social Media.”
The Conference now attracts delegates from across Europe, with attendees booked in from far flung destinations such as Holland and Iceland alongside delegates whose offices are just a stones throw from the Conference venue in the Northern Quarter.
“80% of delegates completed their feedback forms on the event, I’ve never seen that type of engagement from a Conference before with 92% of delegates feeding back that they thought the event was Good or Excellent,” said James whose team have now compiled an exciting range of Speakers for this year’s Conference. “We were delighted to be joined by such a great mix of fantastic speakers, but the Conference is now going from strength to strength and the response from experts in Social Media is that they really want to speak at this event as they understand it’s a genuine Conference which provides real content and not just buzz words and fluffiness on Social Media.”
