The staff at Accrington-based QualitySolicitors AcklamBond have various exciting fundraising planned over the next 12 months but their biggest will take place on 30 September 2017, when the team has decided to tackle Snowdon.
Snowdonia is a mountainous region in north-west Wales and a national park of 823 square miles (2,130 km2) in area. The area is named for the mountain Snowdon, which at 3,560 ft is Wales’ highest peak and also the highest point in the British Isles outside of the Scottish Highlands – presenting a huge challenge for the team.
The company is continuing its partnership with Barnardo’s, which is the UK’s largest children’s charity. It does amazing work to help children in poverty, support young carers and help families looking to foster or adopt a child.
QualitySolicitors AcklamBond’s mountaineering team will include Yvonne Cannings, Julie Meeks, Kayte Millray, Stewart Croft, Tom Fleming-Cooney, Rebecca Robinson, Francesca McDermott, Matthew Simkin, Melissa Robinson, Leah Hollister and Tyra Taylor. They have already started practising and will be updating their social media pages with their training diaries, so readers can keep track of their training programmes all the way up to the big day.
Roberto Carassale, Managing Director of QualitySolicitors AcklamBond, said: ‘We are all most enthusiastic about Barnardo’s and the wonderful work that the charity does.
‘Climbing Snowdon is an inspiring challenge which we are honoured to tackle in support of Barnardo’s and its important mission of assisting children in need.’
