Bellway Homes’ senior site manager Tony Charnock is the proud recipient of his second National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job award for excellence in site management at his current development, Pocket Green in Lowton, near Warrington.
In existence for more than 35 years, the NHBC’s Pride in the Job scheme is dedicated to recognising the industry’s very best performers and is a prestigious accolade that site mangers aspire to achieve.
To receive an award, site managers must score highly in all areas of build and site management including quality of workmanship, technical expertise, health and safety and leadership. Judges are looking for meticulous attention to detail and the special qualities that set award winning site managers apart from the rest.
Having worked in the construction industry for more than 39 years, starting off as a joiner before moving into site management 34 years ago, Tony, who is also from the Warrington and Leigh area himself, is thrilled to have received his second NHBC Pride in the Job award for his work at Pocket Green which is located off Compton Way.
He commented: “It is great to be recognised for doing a good job and I am delighted to receive my second Pride in the Job award.
