FAQs

What is Huddled News?

Huddled News is a regional news hub focusing on business news from across the North West, including new appointments, business growth, charity events, tech and more.

How do I submit an article onto Huddled News?

If you wish to post a one-off press release, you can do so here. Once you have uploaded your article and image, you will be directed to our PayPal page to process the payment.

Can I still make a payment if I don’t have a PayPal account?

Yes. If you wish to make a payment via bank transfer, simply email Suzanne at suzanne.goddard@huddled.co.uk to arrange an invoice.

I want to submit an article but I’m unsure if it’s right for the website. What do I do?

Send your article to Suzanne at suzanne.goddard@huddled.co.uk and it will go through a screening process. Once it has been approved, you will be contacted shortly after.

Is there a cost for all articles?

No, we share articles sent to us directly from charities for free.

Can I pay via PayPal if I sign up to a package?

Paying via PayPal only applies to one-off press releases. If you sign up to our ‘5 for 3’ or yearly deal, you will be sent an invoice where you can pay the balance via bank transfer.

Do you take payments over the phone?

Unfortunately not. We only accept PayPal payments or bank transfers.

If I purchase a ‘5 for 3’ deal, is there a timeframe on when I can send articles?

No, once your payment has been processed you can begin sending your articles as and when you like. You can send all 5 in the same week or spread them out across a few months if you wish.

How many images are required for each article?

We will use one image as a featured image. You can either send us a few images and let the Huddled team choose, or you can simply send us the one image you wish to be featured on the article. All images must be landscape and no less than 900 pixels in width.

I’m a PR company and I want to purchase a ‘5 for 3’ deal. Do all my articles have to be about the same company/client?

It’s entirely up to you. If you want to send five articles about the same company or send five articles about five different companies that you work with, you can do.

Do all articles have to be business related?

We do accept opinion pieces which are located in our Opinion category.

What happens when my ‘5 for 3’ or yearly package runs out?

Once you have submitted all your articles and your package has finished, you can renew for a second batch. Simply email Suzanne at suzanne.goddard@huddled.co.uk to arrange another invoice. There is no contract so you are not obliged to sign up for a second package.

Where will my articles be shared?

All articles submitted through Huddled will be shared on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as via our daily newsletter.

How will I know when my articles are published?

If you have a specific date in which you would like your article to go live, please let the Huddled team know. If you don’t have a specific date, your article will go live within 1-3 working days between 7-8am – with social media posts going out later on the same day.
