New media and animation centre given the go-ahead

Edge Hill University in Ormskirk has been granted permission to build a new media and animation centre alongside more student accommodation. The West Lancashire Borough Council gave the green light to the 52,750 sq ft teaching and research facility which is to be called ‘Creative Edge’ and also a 144-bed student accommodation block.
